Season Overview
The 2011 lacrosse season will consist of 16 games with an even number of games played at home and away. Conditioning begins in January with practice officially staring in early February. Games will be played during the months of March and April with finals and State championship games played in May.
Player Team Participation
Butler has historically fielded both Varsity and Junior Varsity teams. However, a JV team was not fielded in 2010. Player participation does not guarantee game playing time. Charlotte High School lacrosse is not a recreational program where players are provided with equal playing time. These programs are highly competitive, and play to win. Therefore, those players that demonstrate the greatest competitive ability, in addition to meeting all other team and coach requirements, will obtain the most amount of game playing time.
